The Jasikan Municipal Assembly on Thursday, 18th December 2025, held its General Assembly Meeting to deliberate on key developmental issues affecting the Municipality.

The meeting brought together all Assembly Members from the various electoral areas, Heads of Departments within the Municipality, the Presiding Member, and the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE). The gathering provided a platform for stakeholders to review ongoing projects, assess challenges, and propose measures to accelerate development across the Municipality.

In his opening address, the Hon. Andrews Jacintho, the Presiding Member welcomed members and emphasized the importance of unity, commitment, and active participation in addressing the developmental needs of the Municipality. He encouraged Assembly Members to continue engaging their communities and bringing forward issues that require urgent attention.

This was followed by an address from Hon.Parke-Davis Magyigbe the Municipal Chief Executive, who also stood in for the Hon. Member of Parliament for the Municipality. In his presentation, the Hon. MCE highlighted several ongoing development projects currently being undertaken within the Municipality, aimed at improving infrastructure, service delivery, and the overall well-being of residents.

The Hon. MCE further acknowledged and outlined some of the notable contributions and initiatives of Hon.Kofi Adams, Member of Parliament, commending his efforts toward promoting development in areas such as education, health, and community empowerment.
