On Tuesday, 26th August 2025, the leadership of the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) in the Jasikan Municipality paid a courtesy call on the Hon. Parke-Davis Magyigbe (MCE) of Jasikan Municipal Assembly.

The visit was to engage the Hon. MCE in discussions on key issues affecting transportation within the municipality. The GPRTU executives raised concerns regarding road conditions, passenger safety, and the need for improved collaboration between transport operators and the Assembly.
In his response, the Hon. MCE expressed gratitude for the visit and commended the GPRTU for their continuous role in supporting mobility and economic activities in the district. He assured them of the Assembly’s readiness to work closely with transport stakeholders to find lasting solutions that will improve transportation services in Jasikan.
Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen collaboration for the benefit of residents and drivers across the municipality.
